Casey Wolverton is the lead pastor of the Glenvale Seventh-day Adventist Church of Toowoomba, Queensland, and has served the Adventist Church of Australia since 1997. Originally from Seattle, Washington, USA, Casey earned his Theology degree not far from there at Walla Walla University in 1994. He’s been enthusiastically leading churches, teaching the Bible, and using media avenues such as television, radio and the web to proclaim the gospel ever since.
Pastor Wolverton has a passion for engaging Christian leaders across denominational backgrounds and traditions, and has been invited to share his faith in a surprising number of places in recent years. Churches across Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, South Africa, Thailand and the United States have welcomed his itinerant speaking ministry over the last two decades.
In 1997, just nine months after his arrival “Down Under”, Casey married his Australian bride Katie-Jane. Ever since tying the knot they’ve enjoyed ministering to others in a wide variety of ways. Kate additionally has built up a large Labradoodle breeding business that has created many opportunities to connect with people regardless of their faith journey. Together Kate and Casey have two beautiful daughters – both who enjoy mocking their father’s American accent.
